Getting off the Financial Roller Coaster

Yesterday I was talking to a client, a few months before we started working together she had experienced her best month ever in her business. More clients and income than ever before. She felt amazing!

And then…

Everything came to a screeching halt.

Out of nowhere she started to feel panicky. She stopped marketing. She put off returning phone calls to prospective clients. She said no to opportunities. She stopped making offers when she was talking to a potential client. She was full of fear and doubt.

Her best month ever was quickly followed by her worst month ever.

Sound familiar? It’s the financial roller coaster. The feast and famine cycle that many entrepreneurs struggle with.

And it’s caused by mindset. Limiting beliefs and fears that you might not even be aware of, but that pull you back down as soon as you’ve reached a new level of success.

You have a great month, new clients, increased income, new opportunities. You feel great!

For about a minute and a half. And then the panic and doubt kick in.

“Who am I? I’m not good enough for all of this. I don’t deserve these clients or this money. It’s too much!”

Which is when your subconscious steps in to “protect” you from the danger. Your subconscious thinks that by holding back you don’t have to risk finding out that those fears and self-doubting beliefs are true.

If you secretly worry you’re not good enough, your subconscious will “help” you by holding you back in your not-so-comfortable comfort zone.

For my client, I helped her to understand how she was creating the financial roller coaster and why. She was able to release those old fears and shift from doubting herself and her worthiness, to valuing herself and allowing herself to receive more than ever before.

The next time she had a breakthrough, where things were going really really well, she knew to expect the doubt as part of the process. As soon as she noticed those first few doubts and panicky thoughts we got on the phone and she was able to immediately work through it to keep going and growing.

Having a mindset that allows you to have the money and clients you want is what I want for you.

Here’s a simple, but effective, meditation to help you move through the fears and doubts:

Close your eyes and take a few slow, deep breaths.

Breathe in: I am willing to release this fear.

Breathe out: I am willing to release this doubt.

Breathe in: I give myself permission to be more, do more, and have more.

Breathe out: I deserve to be happy.

Breathe in: I deserve to enjoy what I do.

Breathe out: I deserve to feel peaceful and relaxed.

Breathe in: I am worthy of financial abundance.

Breathe out: I am worthy of love.

Breathe in: I deserve all of the clients, income and opportunities coming to me.

Breathe out: I allow myself to receive.

If you want help, I’m here to support you.

Most people stop at the fear and doubt. They hold back and self-sabotage when things are “too good”.

They decide to stop at their limiting beliefs.

You have a choice.

To stay where you are or to move forward.

If you’re ready to move forward I would love to help you.

Wishing you love and abundance,
